  • Casita incorporates a behavioral based approach to financial planning that blends the psychology of finance with traditional financial planning. We create financial plans that are aligned with your core values, emotions, and money behaviors to ensure effectiveness and impact. 

    Casita's financial advisors are fee-only, meaning we are compensated solely through fees paid directly by our clients. We do not earn commissions or receive compensation from the sale of third-party products, such as mutual funds, insurance, or other investment products. Our fee structures vary and may include flat fees, hourly rates, or a percentage of assets under management. For more details about our fees, click here.

  • We specialize in helping first & second generation Americans, people new to finance, families, and career professionals achieve their financial goals. There is no minimum amount of assets needed to begin working with Casita. Investment management is not required to receive Financial Planning.

  • Finances evolve over time, especially during life events. Having an ongoing relationship with a trusted professional may help you navigate those changes. Memberships allow clients to have full access to an advisor via text & email, receive a financial plan, and have ongoing coaching to accomplish their financial goals. Membership levels vary based on complexity of plan, frequency of coaching calls, and client needs.

  • Yes, each membership level has either a 6-month or 3-month minimum time commitment. These commitments help establish a trustworthy relationship, ensure that the quality of advice provided is high, and create a healthy coaching environment. 

Service & Communication

  • When you have a financial question, you can access your financial advisor via email or video call. You will also have regular video coaching calls to ensure you progress towards your financial goals. 

  • Life is full of changes, and as your financial situation evolves, we'll be here to support you. You can contact us anytime via email or text with your questions. We will also proactively update your financial plan in response to major life events. Additionally, you'll receive our regular newsletter with financial planning tips, economic news, and insights from our advisors.

  • As a member, you have full access to a CFP® professional via email, so you'll never feel alone when making an important financial decision or experiencing a life change. You will also have regular coaching sessions and opportunities to check in via video call based on your membership tier.

  • Yes, you have the ability to book and purchase additional meetings outside of your membership plan. Email support@casitafinancialplanning.com to coordinate.
